**Terms and Conditions for Tutors**

1. **Platform Role:** Abhyas Tutor is a home tutoring marketplace. Through our platform and resources, we facilitate connections between tutors and students seeking home tuition in the tutor’s area of expertise.

2. **Professional Conduct:** As a tutor, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and exercise professional competence, care, skill, diligence, and prudence as expected of professionals.

3. **Independent Relationship:** You understand and agree that the relationship between you and Abhyas Tutor is not one of employer and employee.

4. **Tutor’s Decision:** The final decision to accept or decline a student for tuition rests solely with you.

5. **Parental Presence:** You agree to teach the student only if at least one parent or guardian is present in the house during the lesson.

6. **Verification of Information:** While all information provided by Abhyas Tutor is deemed reliable, it is not guaranteed and should be independently verified by the tutor.

7. **Commitment to Tuition:** If you agree to take up tuition, you are expected to complete it. In case of unavoidable circumstances, you must provide a minimum of one month’s prior notice.

8. **Demo Class:** You must arrange a demo class within 48 hours of receiving tuition details. If unable to do so, you must inform us immediately.

9. **Duties and Responsibilities:**
– You agree to perform your duties faithfully and to the best of your ability.
– You shall comply with all Abhyas Tutor policies, rules, and procedures.
– You may be assigned additional duties within the reasonable scope of tutoring work.

10. **Termination:** Either party may terminate this relationship by providing at least one month’s written notice.

11. **Confidentiality:**
– You will have access to confidential information belonging to Abhyas Tutor, which you agree not to disclose outside of the Institute.
– Sharing tuition inquiries with other persons without permission is prohibited.

12. **Fee Discussions:** Tutors are not allowed to discuss fees directly with parents or guardians, as all fee-related matters are handled by Abhyas Tutor.

13. **Non-Compete Clause:** If you decline a tuition assignment, you must not contact the guardian/client for a period of six months. Direct dealings with parents or students bypassing Abhyas Tutor are prohibited and may result in account suspension and information being shared with other institutes.

14. **Mobile Phone Usage:** While conducting classes, refrain from using mobile phones unless there is an emergency. Complaints from parents regarding this will be taken seriously.

15. **Warning System:** Tutors will receive a maximum of three warnings before Abhyas Tutor takes strict action.

**Terms and Conditions for Parents**

1. **Availability:** Parents must provide the tutor with a clear schedule outlining the dates and times for lessons.

2. **Payment Terms:**
– Parents must agree on the rate and payment terms, including the method of payment and due date.

3. **Safety and Security:**
– Parents are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for tutors.
– Parents must ensure the tutor’s safety and well-being while they are in the home.

4. **Learning Materials:**
– Parents should provide necessary materials for lessons, such as textbooks and other resources.

5. **Student Conduct:**
– Parents must ensure that the student is prepared for lessons and behaves appropriately during sessions.

6. **Termination:**
– Parents should have a clear process for terminating the tutoring relationship, including the notice period and any procedures for returning payments.

7. **Confidentiality:**
– Parents must respect the confidentiality of information obtained during the tutoring relationship unless disclosure is required by law.

By adhering to these terms, tutors and parents can ensure a positive and effective tutoring experience. All parties must strive for a long and mutually beneficial relationship based on trust and professionalism.
